I am not a DOORS admin, but have an admin-related question (my admin is not familiar with discussions). I am investigating the use of discussions with our Doors projects. We are currently using versions 9.3 and 9.5. I have a few questions: 1. We make deliveries of various DOORS modules (as archives) to an end user. We would like to NOT deliver the discussions with this archive. I read on line that 9.1 does not include discussions in archives. Is this true? Is it by design or a "bug". Does this same behavior apply to newer versions of DOORS? 2. If discussions are included in archives, is there an easy way to delete them? 3. Is there a way to selectively delete discussions (not just close but completely purge) existing object discussions within a module? Thanks for any feedback Al alh - Tue Dec 16 12:37:05 EST 2014 |
Re: Deleting discussions Hi Al, [When you archive and restore a module, discussions about the module or objects in the module are not restored] It is written on both Archiving page and Discussion page. The behavior is the same on the latest DOORS 9.6.1 too. So I think it is by design
